Thanks to everyone who stopped by for Parent/Teacher Conferences! It was so great getting to meet everyone.
The SVDP Carnival was a HUGE success - you parents worked so hard! The kids have not stopped talking about how much fun they had.
Math
We are continuing with the question "Why is using Order of Operations important?" this week. We will have a small quiz on Tuesday to check-in with the kids, making sure students feel confident with the math. We will move on to word problems Wednesday and Thursday.
Our new Math binders are going to be set up today!
Native American Museum Project
Language Arts/Social Studies
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday night students will come home with Homework for their tribe to address the Social Studies standards. This is just research/collection of important information. Students have a specific Social Studies rubric if you have any questions!
We will learn how to incorporate our research into a paragraph graphic organizer on Tuesday. The first progress check that needs to be signed by a parent is due on FRIDAY.
Science
We will have direct instruction time about the Planets and moons and some fun work to do! There will be a quiz on Friday!
Language Arts
We will keep reading Trouble Don't Last as a class
We have a new spelling activity with Three Courses, one due each day. Students will have a spelling test on Friday.
