Our class worked on a new math game that really kept us engaged! Students used three dice and any operation to combine all three numbers and try to find their answer on the page. Most Pencils colored wins!

Students have been working on their own segment to celebrate the Feast of St. Vincent de Paul. Based on the daily student news show CNN10, our class came up with their own project idea - to host a news report about the great things St. Vincent de Paul has done!
The Scale of our Solar System
If the Earth is the size of a peppercorn....
... the sun is the size of a kickball - 26 yards away!

We spent the morning scaling down the Solar System and walking back and forth (and back and forth and back and forth) on the St. Vincent St. Mary High School football field. It took us almost a half mile (~850 yards) to get from the 8-inch Sun to our coffee-bean sized Neptune!
